11A11. Nellie MarciΔ was born on October 18, 1909, on Soledad Street in Salinas, Monterey County, California. She was the first grandchild of Joseph and Aurelia (Cerini) Malugani2. She married Bruce Henry Beach and had six children:
Bruce Henry Beach died on July 13, 1988, in Santa Clara County. He was 86 years old.
Nellie (Marci) Beach died on January 5, 1995, in Gilroy, Santa Clara County, California. She was 87 years old.
111A2. Walter Louie Marci was born December 30, 1911, in Sonoma County, California. He was baptized on April 14, 1912, at St. Rose Catholic Church, in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, with paternal uncle Luca Marci and maternal cousin Mabel Pomi (who was also Luca's stepdaughter) as godparents.
Walter Louie Marci died on August 12, 1994, and had no known children.
11A13. Vinzenzo “Vincent” Charles Marci was born December 7, 1916, in Salinas, Monterey County, California. He married Lois Marie Atnip and had five children:
Vincent Charles Marci, Sr. died on February 21, 2004. He was 87 years old.
11A14. Charles Joseph Marci was born on November 30, 1921. His twin, Joseph Charles, died at birth. He and his twin appear to have been named after his grandfather Giuseppe Carlo Malugani. He married Mary Cadogan and had two children:
Charlie J. Marci enlisted in the U.S. Army on July 28, 1942, in Sacramento, California[Enl]. He was noted as 67" (5' 7") tall and 126 lbs. at the time.
Charles Joseph Marci died on April 27, 2006, at the age of 84. He was buried at the San Joaquin National Valley Cemetery on the western edge of the San Joaquin Valley in Santa Nella Village, Merced County, California.
11A16. Gerunzio “Jerome” Joseph Marci, Jr.Δ was born on August 30, 1924, in Hollister, San Benito County, California. He married Beverly Williams in 1950 and had one daughter:
Jerome Marci, Jr. started as a dairyman but when he was 18 years old he enlisted in the U.S. Army on May 12, 1943.[Enl] Not quite a year after his next older brother Charlie enlisted. PFC Marci served as a light scout and machine gunner in the Philippine Islands and was twice awarded the Bronze Star, earned a Purple Heart, and garnered many other decorations.
Jerome married Beverly Williams in 1950. They took up square dancing and owned horses until their daughter Jill was born. Jerome is a retired postal carrier.
Beverly worked jobs as a real estate agent, bookkeeper for a local fruit exchange, and at a Wells Fargo Bank, where she handled registrations and renewals for the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
Gerunzio “Jerome” Joseph Marci, Jr. died on January 27, 2014, in San Jose, at the age of 89. He was buried at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose.[Grave]
11A7. Elizabeth “Betty” May Marci was born on July 5, 1929, probably in Gilroy, Santa Clara County, California. She died at the age of 17 months on Christmas Day, Decemeber 25, 1930. She was buried two days later at Saint Mary Cemetery in Gilroy.
11A161. Jill Ann MarciΔ was born in California. She had one son, Wayne Marci, whom she co-parented with partner Brenda Booth. Jill married John Dahl Sybalsky on October 5.
Jill and Brenda were united in a ceremony in 1982. She later entered into a civil union with Cynthia Bale, and then married John Dahl Sybalsky. Cynthia has a son, Christopher Sturtevant, whom Cindy and Jill co-parented.
Jill had a television show for five years as “Giggles the Magical Clown” with her partner, Brenda “Snickers” Booth. Jill also authored the books “The Art of Clowning” and “The How To's to Self-Hypnosis” and was a certified Master Hypnotist. She was also a professional Square Dance caller and marketed a device to help the calling profession. Jill and John also co-authored technical articles on Square Dance calling.
Jill and John ran Venue, a software development company, and Jill created and hosted a genealogy website.
Wayne Marci has a first degree black belt in Karate and lives with his mother, Jill, Brenda, John, and Cindy.
Tragically, John Sybalsky died suddenly while visiting family in New York on May 25, 2009. His ashes were scattered at sea. John was only 56 years old.
Jill (Marci) Sybalsky died nine years later on February 22, 2019, in Santa Clara County. She was 59 years old.
